We invite you to join Michael King and Malcolm Muirhead for our Pilates Weekend 2019 Event, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for two days filled with new sessions, educational ideas and of course fun. Michael King has been working with the Pilates technique for over 40 years. He originally worked with the technique as a dancer at the London School of Contemporary Dance. In 1980 he opened his first studio, Body Control, in connection with the newly formed Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden London.
Michael has a unique perspective of the Pilates Method as having a strong traditional background but a, just as strong, contemporary way of creating pathways to the traditional movements. His dance background also plays a natural part of his sessions and creativity.
Malcolm Muirhead has a background in training, course development and Train the Trainer programs for more than 30 years and Malcolm brings his skill and attention to detail to Pilates Instructor Training. He has presented Pilates in many countries both as a course facilitator and at conventions as a presenter and educator since 1999. His passion for the technique and his desire for both client and teacher to be the best they can be, motivates and inspires dedication to the technique in others.
MK Pilates training programs are now taught in 32 training centres in 29 countries worldwide and have been instrumental in the development of national and international standards since 2002 and is still involved to this day.

This weekend is perfect for experienced instructors who are looking to expand their knowledge and teaching ideas. It is also ideal for people who are thinking of training and would like to come and see why MK Pilates is such a powerful way of becoming a strong and confident instructor who is empowered to find your own unique style of teaching the method.
